Jimmy Stewart Birthday Celebration at the Museum

In celebration of the 111th anniversary of the birth of Academy Award winner and WWll Bomber pilot hero, Jimmy Stewart, as well as the 24th year of operation for the museum dedicated to his admirable legacy, please join us in honoring an American Great.

The museum will begin the days festivities with a Birthday sing-along and cake at 12:30 in the museum. The day will also feature a show of antique autos by the AACA Punxsutawney Chapter, curbside on Philadelphia Street from 12 to 4pm.

At 1 pm the museum will host the Opening Reception for an exhibition of local fiber artists in a show entitled Stewart in Stitches- The Quilted Jimmy. Musical accompaniment by Simple Pleasures.

Stewarts iconic hit films provide the special matinee line-up from Friday through Sunday with Harvey; Its a Wonderful Life and Mr. Smith goes to Washington in the museum theater.
