17th  Annual Hoodlebug Summerfest

Date:  Sunday – July 13, 2014

Time: Noon -8 pm

(Bicycle Poker Run registration starts at 9:00 a.m.)

Location: Firemen’s Field

The 17th Annual Hoodlebug Summerfest is a great place to take your family, relax and have fun!  Enjoy the festival atmosphere as you eat delicious foods, shop for unique crafts, listen to talented musicians, watch a delightful parade, participate in different activites such as: a Bicycle Poker Run, a hula-hoop contest, a jitterbug contest, an eating contest and a polka contest.  Take the kids to a special area devoted just to their entertainment – the Kids Zone!  Be sure to pack your swimsuit and take advantage of the specialty pricing at the Homer City Swimming Pool for the day!

11:45 AM – Flag Raising, Fire Hall

Noon – Bicycle Poker Run Awards, On Stage

1 PM – Parade, Main Street, Conducted By The Homer City Fire Department,  Float Theme: Hoodlebug — Wildcats Train To Fame

2:45 PM – Hula Hoop Contest, Front of Stage

4 PM – Duck Race, Floodway Park, Conducted By The Homer-Center Historical Society

4:30 PM –  5K Race Registration, Floodway Park

4:30 PM – 5:45 PM – Kevin Dale, On Stage

6:00 PM – 5K Race, Floodway Park – Conducted by Indiana Road Runners
